The Pinders Healthcare Design Awards 2014
8 Apr 2014Despite moving to a new and larger venue, the ‘Pinders’ was a sell-out event yet again, with 650 guests enjoying the usual mix of fun and games.
With the Nordoff Robbins music therapy charity being the beneficiaries of the event, music was the theme running through the day, starting off with a hilarious performance from “Armenian concert pianist” Kev Orkian. He also formed a new double-act with master of ceremonies Jon Chapman as they guided the audience through the Name that Tune fund-raising game.
Rising singing star, Laura Wright gave an impassioned speech about the valuable work of the charity across the wide spectrum of care before presenting the coveted awards to the six winners.
The event, now in its fifteenth year, are organised by specialist healthcare consultants Pinders, and recognise achievement in the development of the very best care and assisted living facilities across the UK.
Specialist construction group Bouygues UK were welcomed as a new sponsor, joining lenders Santander and Lloyds Bank, finance brokers Chandler & Co and business agents DC Care.
The audience was in no rush to go home, with the after-lunch bar, sponsored by BUPA Care homes, full to brimming as people enjoyed the best networking party in town.
