We were delighted to have successfully arranged funding to support Cloister Care UK secure the purchase of Beechwood House in Glossop.

Chandler & Co was recommended to Helena Brown from Cloister Care UK by the business transfer agents, Redwoods Dowling Kerr, when Helena’s own bank, after months of negotiating, were unable to deliver a lending facility as promised.

Helena was determined not to lose the opportunity and Chandler & Co stepped in at the eleventh hour to assist, working under a pressured timescale to gain sanction for a bank facility, which enabled the purchase to complete.

Helena, a Registered Nurse and most recently a Lecturer at the University of Derby, is looking forward to her new role as manager at Beechwood House.

Liz Woollett, Partner at Chandler & Co, commented ‘It was really rewarding to achieve the facility for Cloister Care UK – when we first spoke, they were very disillusioned by the experience with their bank but still determined not to lose their dream.  We are really pleased to see they are now proud owners of the business and wish them the very best for the future.”
