Following evaluation and careful assessment of many care homes the right one was found for our client in a beautiful setting on the fringes of Snowdonia National Park.

Plas Garnedd Care Centre is Ross Butler’s first purchase in the care sector.

Working with Steve Jenner at Chandler & Co for guidance, many care homes were evaluated for their suitability prior to the decision to proceed with the purchase of Plas Garnedd.  Chandler & Co then arranged funding for the purchase to be completed.

It is a well-established care home registered for 27 elderly/dementia care residents in Caernarfon in a beautiful setting on the fringes of Snowdonia National Park enjoying panoramic views over the Snowdonia mountain range. There is scope to extend the home which Ross intends to do in the near future as it is consistently full with a waiting list.

Ross has had a varied career and gained experience which will be valuable to him from his previous roles as a school teacher, a prison officer and other customer service roles.  He will be living in the bungalow which was included in the sale during the week and his wife Cheryl will be supporting him while continuing with her career at HMRC.

It is very much a family business.  Having spent time recently caring for an elderly family member Ross felt passionately about the importance of providing quality care in a safe, secure and pleasant environment where people can live life to the full. The way that the purchase was structured has enabled the existing owner to stay involved with the home.
